...or rather, lack of it! I'm typing this in our dimly lit bedroom because Baby Muddle has taken to only sleeping with a hand on one of us. And she prefers that 'one of us' to be me.
Not only that, but she's also decided that 5am is her natural waking time. Despite the blackout blinds in our bedroom.
This walking stage can't come soon enough!
Oh the ongoing sleep dilemmas! My one year old is a relatively good sleeper but last week she refused all day sleeps and it was so tough. I think it was possibly teething - but all that crying. Gah. And as for the early wake ups - my son is and always has been an early riser. As a baby he'd go through periods of 5am wake-ups and now he's settled into an average 6.30-6.45. Sometimes we get weeks of 6am. Now and then he might treat us to a random 7.30. Sigh. I'm hoping he'll start sleeping in when he's a grotty teenager! x
ReplyDeleteI hear you! I think its one of the things that most surprised me about babies - if they are tired, why do they not sleep?? What I'd give for a night's unbroken rest at the moment! X
